They say every day is new. But some days, I find myself cycling back to old patterns of thoughts and behaviors. Sometimes I feel angry at You, God, or even betrayed because I thought I had been freed from a certain situation in my life only to find myself back in the middle of those old feelings again. Help me remember this is a process and journey and even though I may not see it or feel it, You are working in my life and are breaking strongholds and chains for me.
God, please help me to stand firm in those days where I feel I am in the thick of the battle. There is an enemy whose sole purpose is to make me doubt my faith and trust in You. I fight this feeling with praise and thankfulness for what You have already done in my life and what You are going to do.
