Life can be very confusing at times and may feel as if we are being pulled in many different directions. When you are faced with a certain decision, which way should you go? What should you do? Which path are you supposed to take? It can be difficult to know which way is best and that is why it is important to seek, ask, and pray.

Before you were born, God had a plan and a purpose for you. The simple fact that you are here today reading this very blog is confirmation of this truth. Out of the billions and billions of people who have ever lived, are living now, and will live in the future, God created YOU and felt as if the world needs someone like YOU. What are you doing with this life that He has given you? Are you living the abundant life that Jesus talks about in His Word? Would you like to?

Living the abundant life looks differently for each person. The world tells us that the abundant life is achieved by amassing wealth, being famous, having stunning looks, experiencing sexual activities, and living for yourself. Does this mean these things are bad? Not necessarily so. If God has blessed you with money, live by the motto, “Freely you have received, freely give.” If you are popular, share with others the goodness of God and what He has done for you specifically. If you are good looking, give that beautiful smile to someone who is feeling down and always be ready to share the reason behind that stunning smile (Jesus!). If you are married, show your spouse how much you love them by practicing acts of kindness as well as sharing your body with them in special and intimate ways. The abundant life is living with what you have at this moment and giving it to God to help shape it in the way He has envisioned your life to be lived.

If you are still struggling in finding your place in this world, seek Him, read His Word, and pray. He WILL answer you. Ask Him to speak to you in a special way. Also, ask Him to help you remember His Words when the enemy comes and attacks and tells you you have no purpose and no future. His Words are the weapon you need to overcome the attacks and live the life that was destined for you.

God, today I feel little confused as to what I am supposed to be doing. I am becoming anxious that maybe there is no plan for me. Help me remember Your Words and promise that You have a plan, a hope, and a future for me.

He is not here; He has risen! Remember how He told you, while He was still with you in Galilee…Then they remembered His words.” Luke 24: 6;8

A heart cloud showing God's love.
